At the heart of the pandemic, creative forces have emerged, making this complex year a fertile breeding ground for trends and new uses. In this context, the networks we call social are paradoxically proving to be increasingly “anti-social” and their reputation has been regularly tarnished by repeated scandals. Marie Dollé headed the digital strategy of a leading media research institute in France and abroad for nine years, notably starting an annual report on social media trends that was enthusiastically received by the market. Quadrilingual, she now works for a public investment bank where she manages the business development of a platform that connects start-ups and investors. Marie Dollé also teaches digital marketing at a French private university. She publishes on a regular basis, including weekly columns on her personal blog, In Bed With Tech for the French version, and In Bed With Social for the English version.
