Connect Stripe and go live
Connect your Stripe account to start collecting real payments and activate live mode.
Connect Stripe
Go to Settings → Payment → Connect Stripe.
You’ll be redirected to Stripe to authorize the connection. If you don’t have a Stripe account yet, you can create one during this process.
Once connected, the status changes to "Connected" in your payment settings.
Activate live mode
From the "Getting Started" section, click Go live. This step activates your store for real payments.
You can also activate live mode from Settings → Options.
Once in live mode, all orders generate real payments. Make sure you’ve tested first.
Choose your plan
Before or after launching, choose a PayFacile plan from Settings → Billing.
The Starter plan is free with 2% transaction fees. Paid plans reduce fees down to 0%. Compare plans.
FAQ
Can I use GoCardless instead of Stripe?
Yes. Go to Settings → Payment to connect GoCardless (SEPA direct debit). You can even use both simultaneously.
What happens if my Stripe account gets blocked?
Stripe may temporarily hold funds for verification (KYC). Your customers can still pay, but payouts are suspended. Contact Stripe support to expedite verification.
