Want to give a collaborator access without them seeing everything? Here are the 4 roles and what each one can do.

Owner

Full access to everything. Billing, account settings, payment integrations (Stripe, GoCardless), team permissions. The only role that can modify billing or delete the account. One Owner per account.

Editor

Content and sales: store management, page builder, marketing, blog, and some settings (design, options, login). No access to billing, payment integrations, or team permissions. Ideal for marketing managers or content assistants.

Agent

E-commerce operations: products, customers, orders, payments. Can handle customer inquiries, view order details, and manage follow-ups. No access to settings, page builder, or marketing. For customer service or sales support.

Accountant

Read-only access to payments and invoices. Cannot modify data or see other sections. Designed for your accountant or finance team who need to review transactions without risk of changes.

Summary

Owner: everything. Editor: content + store + marketing. Agent: products + customers + orders + payments. Accountant: payments only (read-only). You can change a member’s role anytime from Settings > Permissions.
