A clear checkout, even with lots of options

Too many options on one product? Group them for a cleaner checkout.

Option groups organize your options into logical sections. Customers see well-structured categories at checkout, making their choices easier.

What is a group

A container that gathers related options under one heading. Example: a “Customization” group with “Name engraving” and “Font choice.” An “Add-on modules” group with “Advanced module” and “Priority support.”

Creating a group

Product editor > Options tab > “Add a group.” Give it a name — this name appears as a section title at checkout. Then add options inside. Create as many groups as needed.

Assigning options

Each option can belong to a group or stay independent. Options without a group appear individually at checkout. Options in a group appear together under the group title.

Display at checkout

Customers see groups as distinct sections. Each section carries the group name and lists its options. The buying experience stays readable even with many options.

Best practices

Group by theme or type. Limit options per group. Use short, descriptive names. If an option stands alone, leave it ungrouped.
