Workflow builder
Discover the PayFacile workflow builder to automate your business actions: emails, webhooks, and delays triggered by your orders and subscriptions.
What is a workflow?
A workflow is a sequence of automatic actions triggered by an event on your store. For example: when a new order is placed, PayFacile can send a welcome email, wait 3 days, then send a second email with usage tips.
Workflows let you create automations without writing code. You chain triggers, actions, and delays in a visual editor.
Access the workflow builder
From your dashboard, go to Marketing → Workflows. You will see the list of your existing workflows.
If you have not created a workflow yet, you will see a screen explaining the concept and inviting you to create your first one. Click New workflow to get started.
The builder interface
The workflow builder is a visual editor. At the top, you name your workflow. Then you add:
- A trigger — the event that starts the workflow (new order, payment received, subscription suspended, etc.).
- Actions — what PayFacile does automatically (send an email, send a webhook, wait for a delay).
Each step is added sequentially. You can chain as many actions as needed. The whole sequence runs in order.
Activate and deactivate a workflow
A newly created workflow is inactive by default. Activate it with the toggle at the top of the page when you are ready. You can deactivate it at any time to pause it.
Inactive workflows do not execute any action, even if the trigger event occurs.
