Organize your blog with categories: create, assign, and manage categories for your articles.

Create a category

Categories let you organize your articles by theme. To create a category, go to Store → Blog, then access the Categories section. Click New category, enter a name, and save.

Each category automatically gets a URL slug that will be used to filter articles on your storefront.

Assign categories to articles

When creating or editing an article, you can assign one or more categories from the editor’s sidebar panel. Select the relevant categories from the dropdown list.

An article can belong to multiple categories simultaneously. This allows readers to find your content through different navigation paths.

Display on the storefront

On your storefront, categories appear as navigation filters on the blog page. Your visitors can click a category to see only the matching articles. This improves the reading experience and helps visitors quickly find the content they’re interested in.

FAQ

Can I rename or delete a category?
Yes. From the Categories section, you can edit an existing category’s name or delete it. If you delete a category, the articles assigned to it are not deleted—they simply lose that category.
Is there a limit on the number of categories?
No. You can create as many categories as you need. However, we recommend keeping a simple structure (5 to 10 categories) to avoid diluting navigation.
