Configure your promo codes on PayFacile: expiration, usage limits, product restrictions, and online/offline status.

Expiration date

You can set an expiration date for each promo code. After this date, the code will no longer be accepted at checkout and the customer will see an error message indicating the code has expired.

The expiration date is optional. If you don’t set one, the code remains valid indefinitely (until you manually disable it).

Usage limit

The Usage limit field sets the maximum number of times the code can be used in total. For example, if you create a code with a limit of 100, only the first 100 customers can use it.

The usage counter is displayed on the promo codes page so you can track consumption in real time.

Product restriction

By default, a promo code applies to all your products. You can restrict a code to specific products by selecting them in the Associated products dropdown.

If the customer tries to use a restricted code on an ineligible product, the code will be rejected.

Online / offline status

Each promo code has a status:

  • Online: the code is active and can be used by customers
  • Offline: the code is disabled and will not be accepted
  • Expired: the code has passed its expiration date

You can toggle a code between Online and Offline at any time to temporarily control the availability of a promotion.

FAQ

Can I reactivate an expired code?
If a code has expired, you can edit its expiration date to extend the deadline. The code will become active again.
Is there a per-customer limit?
The usage limit is global (across all customers). There is no per-customer limit: the same customer could theoretically use the code multiple times on different orders, as long as the global limit hasn’t been reached.
