Create a coupon code
Create a coupon code on PayFacile: set the code, choose the discount type, configure restrictions, and activate the promotion.
Access coupon creation
From the sidebar, go to Marketing → Promo codes, then click New promo code. You’ll access a two-step form: first the discount, then the promotional code.
Configure the discount
The first step is to create or select a discount. A discount defines the type and value of the rebate:
- Type: Percentage or Fixed amount
- Value: the discount amount (e.g., 20% or €10)
- Target: which fees the discount applies to (subscription fee, setup fee, or both)
- Duration: number of periods the discount is applied for (for subscriptions)
Create the promotional code
Once the discount is configured, you create the promo code that your customers will enter at checkout:
- Code name: the text the customer types (e.g., WELCOME20, SALE50)
- Expiration date: optional, the code stops working after this date
- Usage limit: maximum number of times the code can be used
- Associated products: apply the code to all products or specific products only
Activate the promo code
The promo code is created with Online status by default and is immediately usable by your customers. Don’t forget to enable promo codes in Settings → Options so the promo code field appears on your payment page.

Do my customers automatically see the promo code field?
The promo code input field appears on the payment page only if you’ve enabled promo codes in Settings → Options.
Can I create multiple promo codes for the same discount?
Yes. A single discount can be associated with multiple different promo codes. For example, you can create WELCOME20 and VIP20, both applying a 20% discount.
