Enable the shopping cart on PayFacile so your customers can purchase multiple products in a single order. Configuration from Settings → Options.

What is the shopping cart for?

By default, PayFacile works in direct purchase mode: when a customer clicks on a product, they go straight to the checkout page. This mode is ideal if you sell a single product or if each sale is independent.

By enabling the shopping cart, your customers can browse your catalog, add multiple products, then pay for everything in a single transaction. The "Buy now" button is replaced by "Add to cart" on each product page.

Enable the cart

To enable the shopping cart:

  1. Go to Settings → Options from the main menu of your dashboard
  2. Find the Shopping cart option
  3. Toggle the switch on
  4. Save your changes

The change takes effect immediately on your storefront. Your customers will now see an "Add to cart" button and a cart icon in the header of your site.

When to use the cart (or not)

Use the cart if:

  • You offer multiple complementary products (courses, e-books, bundles)
  • Your customers regularly purchase several items at once
  • You sell products with various options and add-ons

Keep direct purchase mode if:

  • You only sell one product or subscription
  • Your sales funnel is already optimized for quick conversion
  • Each product should be sold independently

You can enable or disable the cart at any time without losing any data.

FAQ

Can I disable the cart after enabling it?
Yes, you can switch between cart mode and direct purchase mode at any time from Settings → Options. Your existing products and orders are not affected.
Does the cart work with subscriptions?
Yes, the cart supports both one-time payment products and subscriptions. Your customers can mix both types in the same cart.
