Multi-product orders
Understand how the PayFacile cart handles orders with multiple products, subscriptions, options, and total amount calculation.
Add multiple products to the cart
When the cart is enabled, your customers can browse your catalog and add as many products as they want before checking out. Each product appears in the cart with its price, selected options, and quantity.
The customer can adjust the quantity of an item or remove it from the cart at any time. The total amount is recalculated in real time.
Mix subscriptions and one-time purchases
PayFacile allows you to combine one-time payment products and recurring subscriptions in the same cart. The system automatically handles billing for each type:
- One-time purchases — billed immediately as a single charge
- Subscriptions — the first payment is charged immediately, subsequent ones according to the chosen frequency (monthly, yearly, etc.)
The cart summary clearly distinguishes between one-time and recurring amounts so your customer knows exactly what they are paying.
Options and add-ons in the cart
If your products offer options (add-ons, variants, configurations), the customer selects them when adding the product to the cart. Selected options appear under each product in the summary.
Options can have an additional price that is added to the base product price. Some options are subject to quantity: their price is multiplied by the number of units ordered.
Total amount calculation
The total order amount is automatically calculated by adding:
- The price of each product × quantity
- The price of selected options (some are multiplied by quantity)
- Applicable taxes (VAT based on your tax profile)
- Any discounts applied (promo codes)
Your customers see the full breakdown — subtotal, taxes, and total — before confirming payment. No surprises at the last step.
