Automatic emails overview

Complete list of automatic emails sent by PayFacile: orders, payments, subscriptions, invoices, and customer portal.

Order emails

PayFacile automatically sends emails to your customers at each step of their purchase journey. Order-related emails include:

  • Order confirmed — product: sent after purchasing a physical product or service
  • Order confirmed — subscription: sent after subscribing to a plan
  • Order confirmed — digital product: sent after purchasing a digital product, including download links
  • Order fulfilled: sent when you mark an order as shipped
  • Complete your order: sent for orders pending payment
  • Subscription renewed: successful renewal notification
  • Subscription suspended: sent when a subscription is suspended (due to payment failure)
  • Subscription cancelled: sent when a subscription is permanently cancelled
  • Cancellation scheduled at renewal: sent when the customer requests cancellation at the end of the current period

Payment emails

  • Payment received: payment confirmation
  • Payment failed: failed charge notification
  • Insufficient funds: specific notification for card rejections due to insufficient funds
  • Payment refunded: refund confirmation
  • Payment cancelled: cancellation confirmation
  • Invoice issued: sent with each new invoice generated

Customer emails

  • Access your customer portal: sent when the customer requests a portal access link
  • Card expiring soon: preventive alert when the payment method is approaching expiration
  • Card expired: notification when the customer’s card has expired
  • Download your digital product: download link resent on request

Vendor emails

As a vendor, you also receive notifications:

  • New order: notification for each sale
  • Payment received and Payment failed: transaction tracking
  • Subscription renewed, suspended, cancelled: subscription lifecycle tracking
  • New customer review: notification when a customer leaves a review
  • Monthly report: summary of your month’s activity

FAQ

Can I disable certain emails?
Yes. From the Emails page, you can enable or disable each email type individually, both for customer-facing emails and vendor notifications.
Are emails sent in the customer’s language?
Emails are sent in the language configured for the product. If the product is set to French, order emails will be in French.
