Verify your email domain

Verify your email domain on PayFacile to improve deliverability: adding SPF and DKIM DNS records.

Why verify your domain?

By default, emails sent by PayFacile use a generic sender address. By verifying your own domain (for example, yourbusiness.com), your emails are sent from your own address. This:

  • Improves deliverability: emails are less likely to land in spam
  • Builds trust: your customers see your domain name in the sender field
  • Professionalizes your brand: consistency between your website and your emails

Start verification

Go to Emails → Verify your domain. Enter the domain you want to verify (for example, yourbusiness.com). PayFacile then generates the DNS records to add to your domain configuration.

Add DNS records

You’ll need to add two types of DNS records at your domain host (OVH, Cloudflare, GoDaddy, etc.):

  • SPF (Sender Policy Framework): a TXT record that authorizes PayFacile’s servers to send emails on your behalf
  • DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail): a TXT record that cryptographically signs your emails to prove their authenticity

PayFacile displays the exact values to copy and paste into your domain’s DNS configuration.

Wait for verification

After adding the DNS records, return to the verification page and click Verify. DNS propagation can take from a few minutes to 48 hours. If verification fails, check that the records were correctly copied and try again after a few hours.

Once verified, the status changes to Verified and your emails will be sent from your domain.

FAQ

Is verification mandatory?
No. Your emails will still be sent without domain verification. However, we strongly recommend it to improve deliverability and the credibility of your communications.
Can I verify multiple domains?
You can verify the domain associated with your contact email address. If you change your email address, you’ll need to verify the new domain.
