Connect your Stripe account
Link your Stripe account to PayFacile in a few clicks to accept card payments. Create a new Stripe account or connect an existing one via OAuth.
Accept card payments: 5 minutes to set up
To collect card payments from your customers (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), you first need to connect Stripe. It’s a one-time operation that takes 5 minutes.
PayFacile uses Stripe as its payment gateway. You keep full control over your Stripe account, your funds, and your data. No API keys to copy-paste—the connection is automatic via OAuth.
Step 1: Go to payment settings
Navigate to Settings → Payment from your PayFacile dashboard. You will see the Stripe section with a Connect Stripe button.
Step 2: Authorize the OAuth connection
Click Connect Stripe. You are redirected to Stripe to authorize PayFacile to access your account.
- If you already have a Stripe account: sign in and authorize access. Your history and settings remain unchanged.
- If you don’t have an account: Stripe will guide you through creating one during the process. Have your ID and bank details ready.
Step 3: Verify your connection status
After authorization, you return to PayFacile. The status changes to Connected with your Stripe account name displayed.
If Stripe requests additional verification (identity, address, business activity), a banner will notify you. Complete these steps directly in your Stripe dashboard at dashboard.stripe.com.
Expected result
Once Stripe is connected:
- Your customers see a secure payment form on your sales pages.
- Payments are processed by Stripe and arrive in your bank account per Stripe’s payout schedule (typically 7 days for new accounts, then 2 business days).
- PayFacile receives confirmation and updates the order automatically.
Stripe fees: approximately 1.5% + €0.25 per transaction for European cards. These fees are charged by Stripe, on top of PayFacile fees based on your plan (from 2% on Starter to 0% on Platinum).
