How much does each transaction cost?
Here’s the exact breakdown. Every payment on PayFacile involves two independent types of fees:
- PayFacile transaction fees: a percentage charged by PayFacile based on your plan.
- Gateway fees: fees charged by Stripe or GoCardless for processing the payment.
PayFacile does not touch gateway fees, and Stripe/GoCardless does not touch PayFacile fees.

The higher your plan, the lower your transaction fees. Beyond a certain sales volume, upgrading costs less than the accumulated fees.
Gateway fees (Stripe and GoCardless)

GoCardless: fees depend on your GoCardless plan. Generally lower than card fees for SEPA direct debits. Check gocardless.com/pricing.

When to upgrade your plan
Calculate your break-even point: if your monthly transaction fees exceed the cost of the next plan’s subscription, it’s time to upgrade.
Example: you’re on Business (€24/month, 1% fee). If you collect more than €4,800/month, switching to Enterprise (€48/month, 0.5%) saves you money. At €4,800 in sales: Business = €48 in transaction fees. Enterprise = €24 in fees + €48 subscription. The exact threshold is €4,800.
