Your customer isn’t at their screen

A customer calls to order by phone. You’re at a trade show and someone wants to buy on the spot. Or you’re migrating customers from another platform. In all these cases, you create the order manually.

Creation steps

To create a manual order:

  1. Go to Orders from the main menu
  2. Click New order at the top right
  3. Select an existing customer or create a new one by entering their details
  4. Choose the relevant product from your product list
  5. Review the summary and confirm the creation

The order is created with Pending status. The customer receives an email with a payment link to finalize.

What happens next

A manual order works exactly like a regular order once payment is made. The customer receives the link by email and completes payment online.

If the customer doesn't finalize, resend the link from Actions → Send pending order link.

For subscriptions, renewals will be automated as soon as the first payment is received.

Expected result

The order appears in your list with "Pending" status. The customer has received an email with the payment link. As soon as payment is made, everything becomes automatic: invoice, emails, renewals.

Does the customer still need to pay online?
Yes, the customer receives a payment link by email to finalize their order. Payment is processed online via Stripe or GoCardless, which allows the payment method to be saved for future renewals.
Can I create an order without sending an email to the customer?
No, the customer automatically receives an email with the payment link when the order is created. This is necessary to securely register the online payment.
