Mark an order as fulfilled (physical products)

Your package has shipped

Your physical product has shipped. Time to notify your customer and update the tracking in PayFacile.

Physical product orders have a fulfillment status in addition to the standard order status:

  • Unfulfilled — the product has not been shipped yet
  • Fulfilled — the product has been shipped

This status is informational and does not affect payment.

Mark as fulfilled

  1. Access the order detail from Orders
  2. Click Actions → Mark order as fulfilled
  3. Add an optional note (for example, a tracking number)
  4. Confirm

An email is sent to the customer with the optional note. The fulfillment date is recorded.

Bulk fulfillment

Multiple packages to ship? From the orders list, select the relevant orders and choose the group action Fulfill order(s). Each customer receives an individual email.

Filter and correct

Use the Fulfillment filter on the Orders page to display only unfulfilled orders — ideal for quickly identifying pending shipments.

If you marked an order by mistake, revert via Actions → Mark order as unfulfilled. No email is sent in this case.

FAQ

Is the customer automatically notified about shipping?
Yes, a notification email is sent to the customer as soon as you mark the order as fulfilled. You can include a note, such as a tracking number.
Does the fulfillment status affect payment?
No, the fulfillment status is purely informational. It does not affect payment or the order status. It only serves to track the shipping state.
Can I use fulfillment for digital products?
The fulfillment status is primarily designed for physical products. For digital products, the download link is automatically sent to the customer after payment.
